Therapy Services
So, how does this 'therapy' thing even work?
The good news is that if you’re here, you’re already on track to finding help.
So, what happens now?
The first step is to contact me and schedule an initial phone call (15-20 min) to get a little bit of insight into why you’re reaching out, and more importantly, to make sure we’re a right fit.

If the dynamic feels right, we can go ahead and begin our journey together. All sessions are the standard 50 minutes and are recommended for once a week.
Most commonly, therapy is long term, lasting a couple of months to a year, so that the root of the root can be unveiled and confronted. Short-term therapy, as few as 3-5 sessions, is also often successful through solution-focused approaches.
The actual process of working together will be tailored to fit your specific needs and incorporate any tools and approaches that might benefit your process.
When you feel you’ve begun to reach your goals, it is healthy to begin meeting less often to increase your self-trust and emotional independence, and eventually stop meeting altogether.
Regardless, if life ever throws a new curveball your way and you feel overwhelmed, I’m here.
In all and whichever ways I can be.

Art Therapy
In individual therapy, I make it a top concern to create a safe space and a positive client-therapist dynamic as a foundation for processing, reflection and growth.
Our work together can be short- or long-term and will always be tailored to sensitive support of your specific needs. Our therapeutic plan can also include a variety of approaches and therapeutic principles that extend beyond traditional talk psycho-therapy if needed or desired.
Groups & Workshops
In addition to individual therapy (whether traditional or expressive in nature), I offer several opportunities for group therapy. The group may be revolving a particular topic and offered to a number of previously unacquainted attendees, or rather curated for a specific group for a private, closed group-therapy dynamic (ie, siblings, families, etc).
Additionally, structured 4-6 week psycho-educational workshops may be available for both children and adults on specific topics including but not limited to corona anxiety, mindfulness practice, corporate wellness, and more.
Updates on these workshops will be shared as they become available.
Therapy Fees
My fee schedule is based on what is customary for therapists in the area. I do not currently work with insurance panels. Limited reduced cost is available based on financial need. Additional discounts may be available for students, lone soldiers, and new Olim. The fee and payment schedule are jointly agreed upon during the initial consultation session.
Art therapy is an integrative technique rooted in psychotherapy which incorporates the creative process of visual art-making to facilitate therapeutic reflection and expression.
While artmaking in itself can be therapeutic by nature, there is a difference between ‘art as therapy’ and ‘therapeutic art.”
With the support of a trained art therapist, the artmaking process can be amplified through a psychotherapeutic lens to evoke therapeutic transformation that goes beyond the limitation of words. This approach, which stimulates the central nervous system for deep mind-body connection, is a wonderful tool for people who have trouble expressing their inner thoughts – children, adolescents, trauma survivors, etc.
It is also a wonderful tool for practicing mindfulness and self-connectedness, enhancing self-worth, and exploring the self in general. No prior artistic ability is necessary – the magic lies in the process, not the product.
Expressive therapies, also called creative therapy or expressive arts therapy, is the use of creative arts, across multiple modalities, as a form of therapy.
While I am specifically trained in art therapy (reviewed above), I have taken coursework and highly regard the use of expressive arts therapies across the other complimenting modalities as well. The same aims of therapeutic transformation which overcomes limitations of verbal communication can be achieved with, rather than visual art, the creative process behind music, writing, movement, and dance. Each of these, or a combination of several, may be used in therapy if it fits your needs as a client.
Virtual Services
2020 threw us a woozy and made online therapy more available and approachable than ever. Those who prefer to maintain social distance and meet virtually are more than welcome to request online therapy services via Zoom, or alternatively, telephone counseling. Virtual services may also be used in the event of a quarantine or lockdown in effect.
